Benefits of The Class

The general classes can be efficient to give their students many different ideas and benefits at the same time. However, the benefits from German culture class are a lot and I would like to mention some of them. Firstly, it is very interested class and about myself I have learned many things. For example, I learned about the social life in German, how the people act, raise, and grow up. I have watched a nice movie at the class in the mid of the semester and that movie talks about culture of German and about the people so how they do spend their times and also how they act with the constitution, so all this information were kind of new for me before we watched that movie. Another point, this class requires to do some researches about different subjects and that also make the students know how to do researches. Secondly, there are many students whether they are American or international they are not accustomed to do frequent presentations, so I think to do a presentation or a speech became easy thing because the class accustomed us to do it. Lastly, In fact, I loved this class and I spent nice time with all the classmates but there is something I would recommend to change in the class, it is the time because the class starts at 5:00 clock at the evening and all the other things were going good.

The Baader Meinhof Complex

I watched and I have recently read about The Baader Meinhof Complex. It is Bernd Eichinger wrote a movie. It is one of the best movies I did ever watch and this movie talks about positive and negative things. This movie was published in 2008 and it shows that Shah of Iran was interested to visit west of German in Berlin and the reason was because he wanted to see the opera but unfortunately there was a group of German people knew about his visiting and then they got themselves ready to prevent his appearance, so there became a protest and hard time then one of the German people who were protesting was killed and that made many other people join the protest then the number of protesters was increased. Regarding to those events group of people decided to go to the weapons department to make some training and then they came back to German as red organization, which is RAF. After that the government of German considered it as a terrorists.

Industries and labor conditions in German in the 20th and 21st century
The 20th century witnessed a technological firestorm race throughout the world of business. During this period, Germany experienced a successful growth spell in its industries and labor market. It was among the top industrialized nations alongside Britain and the United States. Older industries were finished by new methods of production with newer ones coming into fore. Its growth of production was strikingly high. This period saw the emergence of companies like Siemens and Bayer (Grenville 315).
This great success was due to the increased disparity in the country’s population. In early 20th century, Germany alongside other leading countries developed a protectionist industrial policy to structure capitalist economic development during important phases of its industrialization process. It improved its labor conditions to favor the working conditions of its citizens. This was in terms of salary adjustments and workers welfare to march the ongoing changes in industries. However, this growth staggered due to the great economic depression and the World Wars experienced in the mid to late 20th century. This period affected Gemany’s relationships with some of the top countries in the world to the extent of engaging in warfare (Grenville 316).
In conclusion, the 20th and the 21st century saw the discovery of innovative innovations that propelled the country back to the great nations fold. This era saw the discovery of the first aircraft powered by a turbojet in Germany. It returned Germany to its usual status that it was in before. Currently Germany sits fourth in the most advanced economies in the world behind only the United States, china and Japan (Grenville 317-320).

Rulers, governments and politics in Germany in the 18th and 19th centuries
In the 18th century, the “Kaiser,” an absolutist monarch of the Holy Roman Empire ruled the German Nation. According to Pfalzgraf and Rash, the Kaiser in a chronological order came from the House of Habsburg (1452-1740), Wittelsbach (1742-1745) and then Habsburg-Lorraine (1745-1806). Germany was a “patchwork quilt.” An absolutist ruler controlled each bishopric and duchy.  During this century, political influence occurred only through academic privileges and court offices. On power, Prussia was the leading power in the 18th century. They were competing with Austria until they defeated them in 1866 gaining more economically advanced territories in the process.
In the 19th century, the there were two political groups garnering for power in Germany. The liberals, who were more focused on nationalism and constitutionalism. The wider European liberal nationalism movements buoyed them to push for separation of state and church governance. The second group was that of the landed elite group of eastern Prussia also known as the “Junkers.” They were owners of large tracts of land with a conservative idealism in politics. They employed agricultural labor conditions of near servitude to produce grain (Pfalzgraf and Rash 84).
They were against the change in the system of governance of the various states and worked hand in hand with the German Monarchs. However, widespread political revolution across many European countries led to the establishment of elections. All German states carried out national assembly elections but the monarchs still resisted developing a constitution. This led to the emergence of Carl Marx as a vocal political philosopher who spearheaded a revolution against the status quo in German politics and governance (Pfalzgraf and Rash 85).
